Aquis Champions Tour Accolade

We are very pleased to announce that in just our third year, the Aquis Champions Tour has been nominated as a finalist in the 2018 Queensland Sport Event of the Year alongside other high profile events such as Ashes Test Cricket, Brisbane International Tennis and the Commonwealth Games.

Over the last 24 years the Queensland Sport Awards have grown into one of the State’s most prestigious awards and we are extremely proud to be the only participation and amateur event nominated, a remarkable achievement for an event that is just three years old.

In 2017, hometown hero Jeff Horn’s ‘Battle of Brisbane’ WBO Welterweight Title Fight took home the award and the 2018 winner will be announced at a black-tie event in Brisbane on Wednesday 28 November.

The Aquis Champions Tour is now an integral part of the Showjumping calendar in Australia and has grown into the biggest event of its kind in the country.
